French Open Trading Highlights: Monfils Vs Gulbis

I do not usually enjoy trading 5 set matches in the grand slams as I feel the 3 set format makes for much more exciting matches and better price swings.

However, when the match involves Monfils you can not miss it out.

This is a player that simply never gives up and the markets are always interesting when he is involved. With Gulbis one set up and one break ahead he was still only “half way” to win considering the 5 set format but he still traded as low as 1.14 before Monfils dug in and got back in the match eventually winning it 3-1.

Monfils himself was matched as high as 7.8 in the markets.
