Champions League Returns!

My favourite part of the season is now upon us as we enter the business end of the Champions League. The second round runs for about 4 weeks consecutively which just means we can give more attention to each match as it comes.

The tie of the round for tonight is easily the match between Bayer Leverkusen (9.4) and Barcelona (1.45).

The interest in this one is heightened by the fact that Barcelona seem to have lost their air of invincibility, at least when playing away from home. This season Barcelona have failed to win away at the likes of Real Sociedad, Bilbao, Espanyol, Valencia & Villareal and have actually ended up losing away to Getafe and, on the weekend, Osasuna.

Their away form in the Champions League this season has been good with 3 away wins in the group stage including a win in the San Siro, although the likes of BATE and Plzen aren’t exactly a big challenge and were league 2 level rather then Champions League level. So when you consider that Bayer Leverkusen won all their home games in the group stage, which included victories over Valencia and Chelsea, then we could, just maybe, have a good match on our hands tonight.

Barcelona do appear a bit short @ 1.45 and looking at my ratings sheet for this, it suggests they should actually be 1.80. I am hoping that means a pre-match drift will be on the cards as the value backers will probably fancy taking Leverkusen +1 if their ratings sheet is anything close to mine ;-).

The Trend Report Feedback

Well, I hope so too but its still a bit early to say.

Geoff over at fulltimebettingblog.com, called it “probably the best £15 that i’ve spent this year” and also commented that the “Cricket section on its own was worth the money“. Considering, its a 60 page report its extremely comprehensive and well worth the price when you consider the amount of research you are getting in your hands!
