Wish I Was That Punter….
If you follow Sports Trading Life on Twitter you will have no doubt seen the frequent “Wish I was that punter” tweets whenever a big in-play price comes in. Last week we had a big one with Man Utd backed @ 75 in-play when 2-1 down to Southampton before coming back to win 3-2.
This weeks award goes to whoever decided it was wise to back Republic of Ireland in the late stages of their match when they were losing 1-0 away to Kazakhstan.
Ireland were matched as high as 110, before an 89th minute Robbie Keane penalty leveled it and Kevin Doyle nicked the victory in injury time with Ireland winning it 2-1.
Wish I had a tenner on that one!
